TRIPLE CROWN offers experienced baseball and softball instruction for all facets of the game, including tried and true techniques for pitching, hitting, and fielding.
Our instructors provide a unique approach to help students obtain their optimum potential in a respectful and enjoyable atmosphere. The Triple Crown All Stars staff is unified in their approach to ensure that every one of their students is able to achieve their personal best!
BRENT BOWERS
Brent Bowers is the owner and founder of Triple Crown All Stars Baseball & Softball Academy.
He brings more than 30 years of practical baseball experience and knowledge to the Academy, together with years of coaching know-how at the youth, high school, and professional levels. Brent has played, coached and worked with some of the greatest names in professional baseball.
Throughout all of his vast baseball experiences, Brent has learned and strives to bring the physical and mental components of the game to each and every student who walks through the Triple Crown All Stars doors. He especially encourages fun and a love for the game. Brent founded TCAS with that philosophy in mind, and focuses on student training that reflects his positive learning experiences gleaned throughout his baseball career.
Major League Baseball Career. Brent was drafted in the 2nd round — 56th pick overall — in the 1989 Major League Baseball draft. He was drafted by Toronto Blue Jays General Manager and Hall of Famer Pat Gillick. He played for the Toronto Blue Jays for six years with players such as Carlos Delgado, Shawn Green and Alex Gonzalez of the Chicago Cubs.
Brent was a left fielder who threw right, but batted left. He continued his MLB career with the Baltimore Orioles, helping his team to a wild card berth in 1996 and advancing to the American League Championship Series. The Orioles lost the AL Championship Series to the eventual 1996 MLB World Champion New York Yankees.
Brent furthered his career and went on to play with the Philadelphia Phillies, New York Mets, Cincinnati Reds, and Houston Astros. Brent has had the privilege of playing with Hall of Famers Cal Ripken Jr., Roberto Allamor Jr., Eddie Murray, and Rafael Palmeiro.
His career also sent him off to the adventures of international play in Korea with the Hyundai Unicorns, and then winter ball in Venezuela with the Barquisimeto Cardinelles and Pastora de los Llanos, and in the Dominican Republic with the Licey Tigres.
Coaching/Manager Career. Brent started his managerial career in 2002, managing in the Western League with the Solano Steelheads in California. Brent went on to be the Hitting/Third Base Coach with the Gary SouthShore Railcats under Manager Gary Templeton in the Northern League. Brent also managed the Windy City Thunderbolts of the Frontier League for two years before moving on to a bench coach position in the Northern League with the Winnipeg Goldeyes.

JASON BECKER
Jason Becker is currently the head coach of the Roosevelt University Lakers in Chicago. He is in his 4th year as the Lakers head coach compiling a 79-61 record in his first three seasons. Previously, Becker served as head coach of Robert Morris University Illinois for nine years, where he compiled a 337-238 career record.
Becker is a 1999 graduate of St. Joseph’s College (Ind.), where he helped the Pumas to the Great Lakes Valley Conference Championship during his senior season in Rensselaer, Ind. A Division 2 pre-season All-American and a GLVC All-Conference shortstop in 1998 and 1999, Becker is the St. Joseph’s College all-time leader in stolen bases and sacrifice flies. During his junior season with the Pumas, Becker compiled a .498 on-base percentage and swiped 52 bases to set the SJC single-season record.
Becker was named to the NCAA Division II All-Midwest Region Baseball Team in 1998 and 1999. As shortstop, he was also part of the Pumas 1996 and 1999 NCAA Division II World Series teams while competing for St. Joseph’s College. Following his senior season at Bremen High School in Midlothian, Ill., Becker was drafted by Major League Baseball’s New York Yankees in the 54th round of the 1995 June Amateur Draft.
Becker has also served as an instructor for the Chicago White Sox Training Camps and taught for 21 years as a physical education teacher at Jack Hille Middle School in Oak Forest, Ill.

CONNOR CEGLARZ
Connor Ceglarz brings a wealth of playing and coaching experience to Triple Crown Allstars, combining a successful collegiate career with a growing track record of developing young athletes. With over 15 years of playing experience and five years of coaching, Ceglarz brings a deep passion and knowledge of the game to every player he works with. Ceglarz played collegiate baseball at South Suburban College, Robert Morris University, and Roosevelt University, competing at a high level while developing a strong understanding of the fundamentals and mental approach needed to succeed.
Playing Career. A 2016 graduate of Tinley Park High School, Ceglarz was a four-year varsity starter, earning three All-Conference selections and an Honorable Mention All-Area nod. As a senior, he was voted team MVP, showcasing his leadership and impact on the field. Ceglarz began his collegiate career at South Suburban College under the guidance of Coach Steve Ruzich. In his freshman season, he helped lead the Bulldogs to an impressive 43-14 record, appearing in 19 games and logging 20 innings on the mound with a 2.70 ERA, 1.00 WHIP and a 3-1 record. He broke the school’s all-time saves record as a freshman and remains the program’s all-time leader in saves. That same season, he earned All-Region honors and was the only player selected to the All-District team. He graduated from South Suburban with an Associate of Arts degree. Continuing his career at Robert Morris University, later Roosevelt University, Ceglarz played under Coach Jason Becker and completed his education with a Bachelor of Business Administration.
Coaching Career. After graduating, Ceglarz initially pursued a corporate career but soon realized his true passion lay in coaching and player development. He returned to Tinley Park High School, where he began as an assistant coach at the junior varsity level for two seasons. In the most recent season, he took over as head coach of the JV Titans, leading them to a 13-7 record. This year, Ceglarz transitions to the varsity level as the pitching coach for Tinley Park High School. In addition to his high school coaching duties, Ceglarz served as an assistant coach for the Chicago Force Elite 17U travel program this past summer. Looking ahead, he will take on the role of head coach for the Thunder, competing in the Crestwood Collegiate League. Outside of baseball, Ceglarz is in his first year as a paraprofessional within Illinois District 228, where he plays a key role in supporting students’ academic and personal development. His dedication to mentorship extends beyond the baseball field, as he strives to positively impact young athletes and students alike. With a deep understanding of the game and a commitment to helping players reach their full potential, Ceglarz continues to make an impact in the baseball community through his coaching and leadership.

TOMMY FUESSEL
An excellent athlete, Tommy played NCAA Division I football as a wide receiver at Northwestern University in Chicago. After having to medically retire from football, Tommy joined the United Shores Professional Baseball league and played two seasons with the Mammoths. In his first season, he led the team in hitting with the highest batting average, and in his second season led in steals.
In 2018, Tommy became a Certified Personal Trainer through the American College of Sports medicine, and is currently studying accounting at Colorado State University’s global campus.

JESSICA SCOTT
Jessica played softball for Aurora University for four years, helping the Spartans to appearances in NCAA Division III National Tournament play in 2008 & 2010. She was named 1st team All-Conference for the Northern Athletics Conference, D3 2nd Team All-Region National Fastpitch Coaches Association Great Lakes in 2009 & D3 3rd Team NFCA Great Lakes All-Region in 2010. Jessica recorded the Spartan’s highest batting average in 2009 at a .436 clip on 44 hits for 101 at-bats. She was also named to the CoSIDA/ESPN the Magazine District V Academic All-District 2nd team in 2009 & 2010, and was a scholar athlete for the Northern Athletics Conference all 4 years at Aurora University, graduating cum laude with a degree in Athletic Training.
In high school at Crete Monee HS in Illinois, she was named team MVP after two seasons on varsity.
Jessica has coached the Diamond Queens, Triple Crown Bandits, and Triple Crown Angels.

ABBEY BOND
Abbey Bond brings over a decade of elite-level softball experience and a passion for player development to Triple Crown All-Stars, where she offers specialized pitching, hitting, and fielding instruction.
Abbey began playing softball at 7 years old and quickly made a name for herself as a dominant pitcher and versatile player. She spent 10 years with the SOX Fastpitch organization, becoming the first player in team history to compete with the program for a full decade. During her time with SOX, she competed in high-level national events and helped lead her team to strong finishes at the PGF Midwest Championships, including 3rd place in 2024, and 4th place finishes in 2020 and 2022.
Abbey was a four-year varsity starter at Andrean High School, where she played a critical role in the program’s success. Her junior season was a standout year, by leading the Lady Niners to a 2023 IHSAA 2A State Runner-Up finish and securing Sectional, Regional, and Semi-State Championships. Her outstanding performance earned her numerous individual accolades, including 2023 Post-Tribune Player of the year, 1st Team All-State and 1st Team All-Area in 2023 and 2024, as well as 1st Team All-Conference and Team MVP for four years.
Currently competing at the collegiate level for Purdue University Northwest, Abbey continues to bring high-level skill, work ethic, and leadership to the field.
At Triple Crown All-Stars, Abbey is passionate about teaching and mentoring the next generation of athletes. Her lessons focus on building strong fundamentals, improving mechanics, and developing confidence both on and off the field. Whether working with beginners or advanced players, Abbey is committed to helping every athlete grow their game and reach their full potential.
